$10.00 per person for EACH event, with 3 events being offered.
FORMAT:
- 2 Event will be DCI Sanctioned Type 2 Single Elimination, best 2 out of
3 games, with 50 minute timed rounds.
- 1 Event will be determined by the players - Draft, Block, Extended,
Legacy, or T1. This event will be best 2 out of 3 games, with 50 minute
timed rounds.
- The Final Match for all events will be Best 2 out of 3, with no time
limit.
PRIZES:
First Prize for each event is an invitation to SKYFOX Games Lorwyn
Invitational Sealed event, Sunday September 30, 2007. In addition to the
first prize listed, we will be giving each of the winners a FREE invite to
our first $1000 tournament, tentatively scheduled for December of this
year.
2nd prize: AT LEAST $25.00 store credit
3-4 prizes: AT LEAST a $10.00 store credit
These prizes will of course increase with attendance (and are based on a
minimum of 8 people per event)
Other prizes will be determined based on attendance, but will include Door
prizes and other prizes for 2nd through 4th place.

LOCATION:
The Event is located at the Gamers Lair Barrie,
Located on Commerce park drive beside the Movie Theatre (the Galaxy
Cinema). The easiest way to get there from Toronto is to take the 400
South and get off at the Old Molson park Exit (Now MapleView Dr) Take a
Left under the bridge, and follow Mapleview Dr to Bryne Drive (2
lights). Take a Left at the Lights (the corner will have a Boston Pizza
on your left) and Follow Bryne Drive. DO NOT TURN. Follow it STRAIGHT
until you get to a T in the road at the end. To the Left will be The
Cinema. Gamers lair is located in the Plaza Directly in front of you at
the T in the road.

This event will be limited to the first 32

Multiplayer Madness

Tournament begins at 12:00 p.m.
PRIZES
Every player gets a pack just for playing! Then, we'll make a prize pool
based on the amount of players registered. The top 4 players all receive
prizes, including a promo foil!
ENTRY
Entry is $10 per player.
FORMAT
Players are randomly seated into groups of 4 or 5 players, with as many
4 player groups as possible. Your goal is to eliminate as many players
as you can within each 1 hour round. Turns are taken clockwise. Players
may attack or target any opponent. You may split your attacks against
multiple opponents (all attacks must be declared at the same time). The
beginning player draws a card for their first turn.
Scoring: You earn 1 point for
every opponent you eliminate. If you are the last surviving player, your
earned points are doubled for that round. PLEASE NOTE: You may now earn
more than 1 point for defeating multiple opponents during the same turn
with the following exception: If a player manages to defeat all
remaining players with a combo, that player immediately leaves the game
and is awarded 2 points (this includes situations such as a player
casting Spelljack and stealing the combo player's win). The remaining
players continue until the game is completed.
Players may not concede. A player must be eliminated by an opponent.
Whoever is responsible for eliminating a player receives the point. In
some cases this will be up to the judge’s discretion.
During the proceeding rounds, players with the closest point totals will
be grouped together while keeping the player mix as diverse as possible.
A minimum of 3 rounds will be played. Total rounds will be determined by
attendance.
After the last round, the top 4 players with the most points compete in
a final elimination group game. Seating and turn sequence is determined
by points totals, highest to lowest (in cases of tied points, players
roll off). In case of ties for the 4th slot, the final group game may
include up to 6 players but only the top 4 will receive prizes.
During the final group game, if a player manages to defeat all remaining
players, that player immediately leaves the game and is awarded their
prize. The remaining players continue until the game is completed.
Deck construction: Decks must be
a minimum of 60 cards. You may use any cards that are legal in Legacy
constructed with the exception of the banned cards listed below.
Banned cards: In addition to the
Legacy banned list, the following cards are banned: Armageddon,
Apocalypse, Bend or Break, Boom / Bust, Cataclysm, Catastrophe,
Cloudpost, Death Cloud, Decree of Annihilation, Desolation, Desolation
Angel, Destructive Flow, Devastating Dreams, Dimensional Breach, Game of
Chaos, Global Ruin, Impending Disaster, Impulsive Maneuvers, Jokullhaups,
Lion's Eye Diamond, Mana Clash, Myojin of Infinite Rage, Obliterate,
Planar Chaos, Pox, Ravages of War, Razia's Purification, Rising
Waters,Ruination, Soulscour, Stasis, Static Orb, Sundering Titan,
Tectonic Break, Teferi's Realm, Thieve's Auction, Timesifter, Upheaval,
Volcanic Awakening, Wake of Destruction, Wildfire, Winter Orb, Wrap
World, Zur's Weirding.
Penalties: No politics are
allowed. You may not team up with other players. You may not bribe other
players. A judge must be called immediately if any such activity is to
be reported. Players will lose 1 point for each infraction. This may
cause a player to have negative points.

Time Spiral™ Block, and Lorwyn. At least one-third of
the cards in your Tribal deck must have the creature type of your chosen
tribe. (i.e.: a 60-card Elf deck must have at least 20 cards with the
Elf creature type) Tribal Instant/Sorcery/Enchantment cards and cards
with Changeling count as Tribal cards You may build more than one deck
and represent more than one Tribe There is NO sideboarding in this

Straight Swiss. The number of rounds will depend on the final
attendance. Prizes will be given out at the end of the Swiss rounds.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
Sealed Deck. Each player will receive one Shadowmoor tournament pack and
two Shadowmoor booster packs to create their decks from. These cards are
yours to keep
TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE:
Straight Swiss, 4 rounds (based on a 32 players). Prizes will be given out
at the end of the Swiss rounds. If more than 32 players attend, a
SECOND flight will be started.
ENTRY FEE:
$30.00 per player.
PRIZES*
4 wins = 6 booster packs
3 wins = 3 booster packs
2 wins = 2 booster packs
PLUS! Be one of the first thirty-two (32) players to sign up, and receive
a FREE Promo Card
PLUS! The top three (3) finishers will receive a special Life Counter! A
fourth Life Counter will be awarded at random!
